Page Rank or Alexa Rank better?

When looking at buying a domain, is the Google Page Rank or Alexa rank a better guide as to how much traffic the domain will attract? Ideally you'll get both of course, but I've seen plenty of Good Alexa rank domains with 0 PR.

I have a an Alexa Rank 9M domain that is PR0 and another thats Alexa 6M with PR0 and both get regular traffic, even the 15M Alexa ranks get a steady flow.

Which is a better guide? is PR2 better than say Alexa 20M?

PR doesn;t mean much of anything but you have a ton of social network backlinks....and a certain amount of people coming into your site.
I have high PR sites....... but here's the truth one of my pr3 sites makes 300% more money...than my PR6 site....... both are ranked on Google.
I'd say the PR3 is worth more, than the PR6. Lets face facts....it's all about making money. Not about PR page rankings.

So PR is based on number of visitors, but not directly? Your Pr6 site should get more trafic than the PR3 one but doesn't right?

How about alexa ranks - I'm interested in acquiring good expired domains in various areas and either parking them or perhaps developing them a little into revenue sites, but traffic is pretty key to this.

What's the best indicator of traffic amount - Low alexa rank (how low in order to indicate say 20+ uniques per day? 10M?), high PR or large number of links?

I've seen good PR sites with very few incoming links according to urltrends.com

^I know that PR is based on the number of backlinks, and Alexa is a traffic indicator.

PR doesn't reflect traffic i guess... it shows how important is your website. Usually you can buy quality backlinks, unique content which may raise your PR rank..

Does anyone know of a free tool/website that you can use to report on how much traffic a domain has received in the past 30 days say?

alexa gives something roughly approximating this in terms of % of total page vews for a site etc, but I'm looking for something that will tell me roughly how much traffic a site/domain is getting at the moment as this is really the most important thing.

Anyone know of such a site?

So a high PR doesn't necessarily mean a lot of traffic?
