Looking to buy a site whats considered to good to be true?

Hey, whats considered to good to be true in terms of purchasing a website i.e. directories, sites that sell e-books?

I saw a site (sells php script) for sale that claimed 1000 in revenue and overall cost of the site is 1500, but shows paypal screen shots to prove this.

I am new to world of online business. Is something like this going to be a scam?

There is no scam, but you should be very clear about the website which you are purchasing...

May or may not be. But 1500 seems an awful lot to pay for a site with only 1000 revenue. The 1000 revenue bit may be a scam. What site do you need because I may have something for you, at a lower price.

Im sorry, they claim that they pull in 1000$ monthly revenue, for an asking price of 1500.

What about turnkey sites?

Ya I open to buying something that can give me a little income on the side without too much work. So show me what you got.

Maybe something along the lines of a ebook site.

To earn money from a site, the most important thing you need is traffic. You will NOT earn $1000/month just by installing any script.

For example, Youtube earns millions of dollars per month. - There are so many 'youtube clone' scripts available for sale and some for free. But that dosen't mean everyone who starts a youtube clone becomes a millionaire.

Secondly, you can create fake paypal screenshots with any amount of money you need in your account within seconds.
