    HTML 5 and CSS6 for a newbie ?

    Hi YEs,

I have been using wordpress to create some website, sometimes I have to apply some html skills in it. I understand that Wordpress is great, but sometime when it's come to some special requirements from clients, I might need to modify the code from wordpress templates.(Hope that is right) So I want to start learning the the real deal. And someone told me I should learn HTML 5 and CSS6, just wondering is that friendly for a newbie and its there any step I should follow for my learning path?

    Thanks

It never hurts to learn new technologies/platforms, but really it comes down to what your clients need. Are they requesting site features requiring HTML5/CSS6?
