How to Sell your Site

For everyone on here who are inexperienced sellers, here is a few tips...

1. you need to detail your traffic, where it's from, how much it costs you (if anything), the daily or montly page view figure and the daily or monthly unique figure

2. Does the site have income? If so, where from? Adsense, Adbrite, Clickbank? How much per month and for how many months has it been bringing in revenue

3. What are the monthly expenses? (hosting, advertising)

4. Will you provide after-sales support? Will you transfer files to the buyers host?

5. How old is the site and the domain?

6. Where is the domain registered?

7. What is the Page Rank of the site/domain?

8. How many hours per week does it take to maintain the site and it's profitability?

9. What is your asking price and what is included in that asking price?

10. How will you accept payment?

I see many good sites go up for sale on this forum but I get the feeling that not many deals go through. To all sellers, you need to answer the questions listed above in your thread so that everyone knows the details of what you are selling. Ideally, you would post screenshots of earnings and traffic as well.

If everyone selling a site on here disclosed the above information then I think this would become a worthwhile marketplace for websites and/or domains.
