This is a 2 year old established free hosting site run for free through the myownfreehost program. We have spent $0 on advertising and the last time we advertise (me & a few others going around on forums) was 1.5 years ago. So it has been on autopilot for the last 1.5 year. Currently, we get around 30+ new users a day all from referring sites and SE.

At one point, we had 10,000 users. The site has been sitting for a while now and as a result, that number has declined. But for the last 1 year, we have been staying at 3,000 members. Note that all 3000 users are active as inactive accounts are deleted every 30 days. Alexa does a good job at showing traffic trends.

If you haven't notice already, we grew tired; we no longer have that spark for the site anymore hence we decided to sell it. Though, we will not sell it to anyone we deem unfit.

Anyone who is willing to put in some effort can double if not triple the current user base within a month. And as with the taffic, the income will do the same.

One can also promote these 3,000+ webmasters to upgrade to paid hosting. Not all will convert but it should be still good income as free hosts earn thousands monthly just from this. We aware that some paid hosts pay up to $100 for every new customer!
