Im selling abuga. com, which is a directory. It has made over $1500 in just under 5 months selling links with little promotion

The domain is short, and is also a Page Ranking 3.

The script has an admin panel to administer all links. When links are bought they are automatically approved, if it has been payed for.

Link Directories like this are used for Search Engine Optimization. So for example if you want your site ranked higher on Google what you do is submit your website to link directories like this that charge for links. THE THING IS - google has said that they are now tracking Directories that charge per link and are putting them into a database that makes all the subscribers to that site not gain any "brownie points" with google so in other words BUSINESS' LIKE THIS ONE ARE RENDERED USELESS. You should definently do some more research if you are planning on buying this one...in my honest opinion of course.

I would challenge that statement. Google has said they have a problem with paid for inclusion links. They have also said they don't have a problem with paid for review links-payment for the time to review the site for inclusion.

Agreed, many of the big directories took a Page Ranking loss the last update but they are hardly useless. They do provide a resource for webmasters to list their sites.

I have rejected and refunded many sites that didn't fit my criteria for a quality site

the site looks very nice and the name is good. anyway i dont quite understand the site i think

so lets say i have a website that is gogodi.com and i want to get it known. i pay abuga 50$ so it goes to the G category on abuga.com ...then how does it get known ? and how does it get higher search resaults on google cause its there ? i dont think many people would go to abuga cause they are bored and click on H and check what websites are there ...
