Would my idea be allowed or not?

    Hi

I have an idea to advertise companies on giant inflatable animals like this:

The animals would have a companies name on them and the advertising space would be auctioned off. As im from the UK I was thinking of having a giant rubber duck on the river themes and a giant guerilla by the side of the M25 as these places would draw a lot of attention from people and get some media attention. I think it would be a unique way to advertise but would it get permission and who would I have to talk to about doing it?

    Any advice appreciated

    Thanks

    Charlie

Charlie, regarding the big rubber duck thing down the thames i am guessing and i could be wrong but think you would need some form of licence to be able to float it,it would still come under the rules of being a boat and gut feeling tells me it wont be cheap.

thanks, i was under the impression it wouldn't be cheap. Do you think the concept of the idea would work? I'd target at new businesses looking to make an impact on their respective markets and the advertising space would be auctioned off and the highest bidder gets the space. This would be unique so my feeling is firms would be willing to pay more for it but would it border on being tacky or would it be a great way to advertise?

Well its certainly unusual i am not sure how much they would be but gut feeling tells me they cannot be cheap,it could work i guess but the initial expense would be rather high it depends how many of your inflatable friends you are looking at buying. Then you have to go and sell the concept that will be harder than you think.
