I could tell you, but honestly if you're looking for any real athletic brand it's most likely fake.

Wholesale, and dropship is a bunch of BS.

Believe it or not I sell shoes on eBay. I look for shoes in stores that sometime I even pay retail for, but the price goes up, because of the rarity. Look at the pic in my avvy. Those are Jordan III's I bought for $100 brand new. Well believe it or not I sold them for $400 a few weeks back.

If you really want to do wholesale and make money off if it you'll probubly have to deal with fake name brands. I don't condone this in any way, and actually work to shut this type of stuff down, but I'll be honest. People actually do make a killing buying fake wholesale priced $10 Rolex's, and selling them on eBay for $100, same with Fake Nike, Luis Vuitton, and Gucci, ect... Very tempting, even for me, but it's illegal, and I have an eBay rep to maintain.

Just so you know what I'm talking about here are some fake Nike's that went for over $150. I have a few connections with people who can get those fakes for about $20-25 each.

    and:

Now here is a legit pair, so you can see what the true price difference is:

None the less, still a true killing. I won't be letting my info out on how to make good money on fakes, as I don't condone the sell of fakes, but if you are interested it's not extremely hard to look for the info. I doubt you’

hey langox-- i would imagine price competition is fierce on ebay for your niche. how do you manage to keep up with that? do you buy in bulk or dropship?

If you think wholesale is BS you don't know what you are doing, and if you buy shoes for retail and wait 5 years for them to increase in value you really don't know what you are doing.

I'm actually an assistant buyer for a small clothing chain in Northern California, and one location in Reno Nevada. I don't get quite wholesale prices, but I save a lot of money, and do buy in bulk when I can. When I get the money I plan on opening my own clothing store, and then I'll be receiving clothing for wholesale prices.

    Ok, so what’s your technique??

I don't know everything, but I do know what I'm talking about. Unless you have a good and expensive account, or are buying something that probably isn’t worth crap I'm guessing you don't know what you're talking about.

I was talking to my boss about Nike accounts and no matter what, u HAVE to have a certain amount of other vendors and a track record with them for Nike to even look at you.
also, you have to show a certain amount of liquid assets, i have heard upwards of as much as $100,000.
as if thats not enough, you start with a General Release nike account, until u get chosen to be an urban dealer, next up the food chain is urban elite, then urban energy. urban energy is where u start to see some heat.
then comes the big dog stuff which starts with indie elite, and then indie energy. which, lets face it, if ur not a top boutique u will never have.
now, also, keep in mind that u MUST BUY virtually EVERYTHING NIKE offers u on a consistent basis otherwise ur account will be downgraded.
OH AND THEN THERE IS THE ISSUE OF YOUR STORE MEETING CERTAIN AESTHETIC REQUIREMENTS FOR U TO EVEN HAVE AN ENERGY DOOR.

lol, so yea not simple is an understatement!!!!
