Which Industry Needs a Custom CMS ?

These days, I have seen many 'Content management systems' tailor-made to satisfy the needs of a particular type of business.

Eg.:
http://www.ekklesia360.com , a CMS for church websites
http://www.dealeron.com/ , a CMS and more for auto dealers

Please suggest if there is any such niche which does not have a tailor-made CMS.

I thought of custom CMSs for :

• Photographers
• Bookshops
• restaurants
• colleges
• Computer Shops
• Fashion boutiques
• flower sellers
• jewellers
• Travel Agents

Whish of these do you think has most potential?

If you have any other such types of businesses which would benefit from a tailor-made CMS, please tell.

I also thought of making a cheap CMS for auto dealers, which could compete with the existing providers like http://www.idealernetwork.com, http://www.dealeron.com/, etc. Is that a good idea ?

joomla is the best i believe.

thtas the thing... a lot of CMS's do suck. So there is a market for some well made well priced targetted CMS's.

There seem to be some pretty well done photographer portfolio website makers out there.
I didn't search for them earlier.


Crackah : I think you missed the point that I am talking about specialised content management systems, not generic ones like Joomla or drupal. You just cant compare them with Joomla.
Although joomla extensions can be written to do anything, I think people would prefer a tailor-made CMS for their type of business.

Anyone has any other openions ?
