What if one of your competitors makes false claims about your business?

Let's say I started a business and one of my competitors tries a sleazy tactic such as writing a bad review online for something that really didn't happen. Or better yet, they report my company to the Better Business Bureau with false allegations. Is there anything you can legally do about this?
