    Lightbulb What can I do?

I'm 18 years old and I have wanted to start my own company for some time. But I haven't been successful. I live with my mother & sister in a one bedroom above garage apartment so I aspire to get a better life. My father left when I was little and hasn't contacted my sister and I, not even with a birthday card. I am graduating high school this year and going to a community college, but I wish I could go somewhere better.

I have started an internet business but I wasn't successful. It is a search engine, xista.com. I also tried to work with companies to market inventions that I created, but no luck. I have ideas for many different companies in many industries like casinos, electronics, music, movies, franchising, and autos, just to name a few.

Where can I start and what should I do to get going?

    He didnt code it himself.

Are all the results kept in a database of some sort which is hosted online? Is this an access database or what?

to paraphrase mick dundee, that' not an engine THIS is an engine.

vast is where the future is. you crawl, to then break down and categorise info to make it more meaningful.

    wow, that is an engine.

If that system was implemented into an engine like google it would be the #1 engine.

    Employment

First, find employment you can tolerate working with someone else. You'll be surprized how much you can learn; information you can apply to your own self-employment goals.

Good advice. It pays to work in the industry before you open your own business in it. Then you learn without the risk of loosing your own money, then after a few years you can use this knowledge and start your own business.
