    Question Website question??

    Hello..
i was wondering if there are any webmasters or someone with internet business experience that could help me understand this....

If i was interested in buying an internet business from someone...what all is a website made of?
What i mean by that is in the process of them transfering the website to me how would i know if i receive everything i need?
This might sound like a dumb question to some of you but i am no webmaster of any sort. Just trying to figure what all a website itself consists of so i would know if i am even receiving every portiion of it.

Can someone educate me a bit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

A website consists of two basic things.

The code that makes it function and look good and the files that contain the content/images. There are about 15 million variables after that, so I will keep it as basic as possible.

It depends if you are going to use the same hosting as the person who is selling the business. If that's the case its easy but if you are going to use a different hosting provider you will have to transfer all the data to them. I need to know the specifics of the website in order to to tell you how its done.

Read this website first because there are some rules that you have to follow.
