    Website for demographics

I am a amatuer that is looking to become a successful entrepreneur. I am trying to do some research regarding the demographics of my city (even other cities). I am curious to know what market are the consumers drawning their towards. And I believe there is a couple websites that are avaible for this search just don't know where to locate it. I tried using google but didn't work for me

If you anyone knows of any links or anything please post them, even with suggestions and comments

Sure, there are plenty of places to look.
The best place for demographic statistics is the U.S. Census Bureau (Census Bureau Home Page).

If the Census Bureau website is too dificult to figure out or you need additional information that the census doesn't compile, you can use one of many databases that aggregates census data and integrates it with lifestyle and other market data.

One such database is the Euromonitor Global Market Information Database. Another is Statistical Universe (integrated with Lexis Nexis). Another good one is TableBase.
However, you will need to pay for subscriptions to these, or your local library may have subscriptions to these that you can use.
