    Uranium Mining Sample Business Plans?

    Hi,

I'd like to be referred to any resources where I can find sample business plans for mining (uranium)?

China is in the processes of building nuclear reactors for energy demands and I'd like to learn what is involved in mining uranium in terms of how large the market is, the products liability , production, environmental factors and how to manage them, putting together administration policies for a possible mine, measuring sales projections, unforeseens and how to plan ahead of them, the type of equipment needed etc etc etc

I'm busy doing research and I'm finding it hard to acquire most of this information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Best Wishes

to get your business plan, go the website of a stock exchange, dial up some uranium mining shops and look at their annual reports (i.e. 10ks)..these things are formatted similarly to a business plan

better yet, log on to the stock exchange site, bring up the list of upcomming IPOs, if you're lucky, some of these will be mining shops, then look at their prospectuses, or find some old ones by googling for "uraninum mining prospectus"

    here's one: http://www.firsturanium.com/downloads/ipoprospectus.pdf and another

the SEC calls these "registration" or "S1" or "S1A" staments. they're basically business plans...except they're more indepth because they must meet statutory requirements

Im not sure if any of this will help but:

There is over a 40% shortage of supply of uranium right now, and we are currently getting current supply from previous stock build up which is rapidly running dry. Part of the reason for the shortage is that uranium funds such as Uranium participation fund are buying up all the stock and holding it with the intent to sell later at a future date at much higher prices.

I also know that on average it takes anywhere from 10 to 20 years to bring a property into actual production. The process is lengthy and many permits ect must be acquired. Also Quebec right now is the number one choice to do any sort of mining in the world, they are very miner friendly, and very safe part of the world. If im not mistaken Ive even heard of the Quebec government helping to fund company drilling and exploration.

I can provide you will a few great uranium articles if you like. However none will tell you how to actual purchase a mineral rights to a resource property or the environmental issues/how to address them, that kind of stuff I do not know.

But i myself would be interested to know the same things your after so if you find anything let me know too, thanks =]

Thanks for your suggestions. Greatly appreciated.

Thanks to Akula in particular, the prospectuses have a great deal of information that I need to comb through for the exact pieces that I need.

I'm actually trying to put together a business plan on mining uranium. I'm just trying to do the research and whatever information is relevant, I file under a respective heading eg. information on insurance and health pre-cautions will be put under liability...

So, I'm looking more for already made sample business plans on mining uranium and taking note of the data contained in the sections as hints, then going out and doing more research and fleshing it out more.

Does anyone else out there have any idea of where I could business plans of uranium mining in particular?
