I work with children in africa and need to open up a bank account in my business name so donators can write checks to a business name rather to me. I don't have any business name or accounts set up yet. I would like to know how I open a business bank account, and I am filing for a profit business, not a charity. The people who donate are not expecting a tax writeoff. How to I obtain a business bank account and become a profit company legally? I want to know how I can have people write checks into the name of my profit company's name. Mostly I need to know what I would file my business under. I want to incorporate, but I do not want to file for non profit because of all the legal forms etc. I would like to file as a profit business so I can just open the business bank account.

you need to form your business entity and use the articles of incorporation to open your bank account. It may differ where you are currently located. Do some research.
