    Too young to register DBA-LLC

    Hello i am extremly nervous and a little scared about uncle sam getting me so here is my story
    Im 14 i run the upcoming doawriting.info site which is a writing service and translation i am 14 years old. I am wondering i heard about legalzoom but you have to be 18 and i am 14 How could i get a DBA or do you suggest i get a llc

    and also tax when do i start to file tax do i let my parents file tax. my parents think am very mature for running this buisness and have lots of hope i will not screw them into legal problems im doing it for my family who does not earn alot of money.so i need to no about tax and everything ASAP thank you

    Alright, first off. "do A Writing" ? I don't think anyone is going to hire you with that type of English. Second, you would need to get your parents to register for you. They'd be taking all legal responsibilities for you though.

    There is no age limit for forming a llc and it is EASY to form, I suggest you form a llc to get personal liability protection. you can register a llc WITHOUT a co-signer but you will need one if you want to open a business bank account.

    Think through the tax issue before forming the LLC since it is a pass through and will need to be filed on the owner's tax return. If you want to claim the income on your parents return then they'll have to be members of the LLC. If you claim the income on your return then you will pay a lower rate than your parents would since they have other income already driving up their marginal tax rate. You should run it by your accountant though.
