Your best bet would be to make a prototype. Even if it is made out of chicken wire and confetti. I have even seen people create a prototype on their pc with a program. As long as they get a sense of what it will look like.

Present it to who you want to maufacturer it. Make sure you have a detailed list of what it will do and what purpose it will serve. Everything from what age group to what sex you want to hit for consumers. Map out every little detail on paper and present it to the manufacturer you want to make it.

There are also ways to patent your own product.

The manufacturer may even want to buy your idea and make it themself.

The best way IMO is to have a prototype, as well as detailed prints with dimensions, tolerances, material requirements, and the number you are looking to have made.

They'll base the cost on: tooling, material costs, time, and production volume.

PM me and I might be able to help you find a manufacturer.
