Okay, so -- here's the play-by-play! Just recently, my town's local newspaper went out of business. I've taken a few looks at the building and noticed how it would be an ideal place for an internet cafe' or an ATM/Fax business. I decided to look further into my idea and came up with an excellent way to start my small business. I took my ideas to the Town Hall/Board Members Administration and they took one look at it and gave me my ideas back! I was in shock. I mean, this new business would gain more population for our town which would result in more money for our town. I return the next week with an even thorough business op. for them and they still turned me down. So, I got the idea to do a "What does the town want?" survey and came to the conclusion that 87% of the town thinks it would be an absolute success while 7% said it wouldn't matter to them whether we had the business or not and the remaining 6% replied that they don't even know what I'm talking about when I say "Internet Cafe'". So, I gathered my results and started collecting names of all the towns people who would be in favor of my idea. I got over 27,300 signatures and I took those names to the board and told them that they can't do one single thing to stop me from starting it. So, now that I have their attention -- it seems as if I have made a starting bar for myself. Now, my question is... what can I do to get all my loans, inventory, stock, free publicity, management, warrants and all that other good stuff that comes with a business with minor knowledge of enterprising this business? Keep in mind that I have never done anything this drastic without having back-up or a plan B. And with the board members against my ideas, they will not be supporting me anytime soon. So, any tips? Any tips will be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!
