Arrow Taxes for a private contracting in MT...

    Hello all,

Ok so I need some advice I've been doing some private contracting work and now I need to know about what taxes I have to pay. I know now that I should of do my homework first, but I didn't so now I need some quick help. besides taxes what other Licenses do I need Right now I just want to get and do the bare minimum to be legal.

I'm 20 years old and made over 1K last year, so I probably need to file federal income taxes right? I was told that I need to get a workers comp exemption number... I don't want to get or pay for anything more than what is necessary to be legal. Because I'll be getting out of this work within the next couple months.

How you can all Understand me,
    ~Zechariah

P.S. I'm also still living with my parents if that makes any differences. Let me know if you need more info.
