I am starting a retail sporting goods business as well as doing jerseys, custom shirts, embroidery, etc...

I am a sole proprietor. My ex-wife is helping me do the marketing and advertising but she will not do it for free. A guy suggested subcontracting her and pay her commission on the profit I make. My question is, how do I go about doing that?

Also, I am going to subcontract sales rep for my company. Pretty much they buy the product from me, and then quote the customer whatever price they want, but representing my company. A friend told me to make sure to give my subcontractor my business cards to give to the customer and give my subcontractor a carbon copy blank receipt booklet. Why would I need to give him the receipt booklet? Also, my friend said that if that customer comes back but calls me instead(because he has my business card), to give a percentage to my subcontractor.

Does that sound like a good plan? I am trying to keep this simple.

Plus, I dont know how to make up a contract like that for the sales rep and my ex-wife. I hope someone can help!
