Sponsorship advantages for a Law firm

Some friends and me are currently interested in holding an event where there'll be some budding entrepreneurs as well as a few startups.
It's been suggested to me that it might be a good idea to look for a law firm to sponsor the event, and i've seen it happen elsewhere.

But how do you pitch to a law firm the advantages of sponsoring the event?

Simple: Explain to them how they stand to gain more than it will cost them.

Obviously ask law firms that specialize in small business or intellectual property or incorporation type stuff.

You might also suggest to the would-be sponsor that they can set up a free table and/or have an agent speak at the event on subjects related to the event itself.
