Hey
My only real inspiration in life is to start my own company mainly focusing on the production of jib/park boards. What I want to know is what resources are required to start a company like this? and also what type of classes/major in College would be helpful for making my dream a reality?

Are you going to be manufacturing the boards yourself or outsourcing the manufacturing?

You really don't NEED a major in college to start a company. However, if you are looking for a major to complement your interest in entrepreneurship, I would recommend either Management or Entrepreneurship.

Have you identified what demographic you are going to be marketing the product to yet or how you are going to be selling your products (ie: online or retail store)? Consider some of these questions before starting up. I would go to entrepreneur.com for some articles on the startup process.
