Seeking Lingerie Biz Mentor/Advice

So I am extremely motivated to begin working on my business plans for a lingerie boutique I'd like to open in my area. I've been doing my research on the market analysis, competition, and just really trying to get some of the ideas in my head down on some paper so others can visualize where i'm coming from. I have many ideas on advertising, operations, and just general business objectives....but I still feel if I could get some advice from someone in the related field it would help tremendously.

ANY advice anyone has to offer I am eager to hear and apperciate it very much. No one around me really has the kind of motivation or let alone interest that I have for this but I dont let them stop me. Its refreshing to have found this website and know I'm not alone in my ambitions.

Are you going to sell female or male lingerie. If it is female, make sure you have good looking women, the right about of make-up application and sexy outfits. That would work for me!

womens lingerie...and I was thinking maybe hiring promotors to go out to local bars on fri/sat nights all dolled up looking sexy and handing out flyers and coupons n such.... yea??? hit or miss???

If I were starting up a lingerie business I would go for exotic, classy feel and make a big note to import lingerie from sexy places like France etc.
