    s corp, c corp

I'm interested in opening my own boutique with no limits. I'm going to be selling jewelry, clothing, etc. that I've designed. What is the best corporation to be?

Speak with an accountant and lawyer.
The major difference between a C and S corp is that the taxes of an S corp will pass through to you as an individual, whereas a C Corp will be taxed on a corporate level first. If you have zero or a small number of employees, you may be better with an S Corp to avoid double taxation. But there are benefits to a C Corp as well, therefore speak to a CPA before deciding.

I would go with S corp for a small shop. I am pretty sure that you will not be double taxed that way.

    I agree with speaking to a lawyer/accountant.

I would also suggest looking into an LLC. You get the simplicity of pass thru taxes plus the limited liability of a corporation.
