    Roommate contract question...

Hello, I am starting a small roommate finding service in my area. I know that it will be important to have a legitimate contract protecting me from any legal issues once the roommates begin living together, but my question is this: Would it be best to go ahead & have this contract drawn up by an attorney or are there websites out there with example contracts that would be just as good for me to "fill in the blanks" & use? I am just curious if anyone in their line of work has fared fine by the latter option.

this is a difficult area. i am a law student. unless you have legal experience i would not advise you use the interent. speak to a lawyer.

Since laws can vary from state to state, I think I have to agree with ds721. It would be best to get a lawyer to help you draw up a contract.
