Hi guys,

I'm brand new to the forum, and to the business world, but have been contemplating starting some sort of business for the past year and a half.

Seeing as I have no prior business experience, I figured reselling online via Ebay or even my own website would be a good start and would help me gain some experience, however I am having trouble figuring out where I can purchase brand name clothing (Gstar, Levi's, Sass n Bide etc.) to resell? I assumed that I would have to contact the clothing companies directly and become a stockist, but something tells me it's not as easy as simply giving them a quick call and asking to purchase a bunch of clothes at wholesale prices.

Would it also be the same situation for things such as footwear, sunglasses and handbags as well?

Some assistance in this area would be greatly appreciated
