    Registering a Sole Proprietorship

I am in the process of starting up a cloting business selling my own clothing that i design and get made. I want to register my business but i am underage. Although i'm not 18, i have my SSN. I filled out the application to get an EIN for my state already but have yet to submit it. Although i'm under 18, should i submit it. Are there any consequences. Will they accept me even if i'm under 18? I just need an experts word telling me that its good and i will submit the application.

you can get a sole proprietorship business license regardless of your age. You can also get a Fictitious Business Name Statement regardless of age, but you can't get a sellers, or resellers permit. I would skip the EIN and just use your SSN for now. That's what I did and it made things a lot easier.
