    Registering a Business Name

I'm in the begining stage of planning my clothing line business and I can see to find the best way to register my business name. I keep finding all kinds of websites but just don't trust them. Any ideas on how I should go about registering my business name internationally and nationally?

I use Network Solutions for all of my domain name purchases.

They're the "Kings" of domain name sellers and they're reliable.

Granted you'll pay a lot more for their domain names - but you'll also have peace of mind that your domain is safe from hijackers.

Yes there are a lot of sites out there saying that they will file all the paper work for you and so forth. I looked at some of those in the beginning but they charge way too much. I am not sure if your located in the US but here is what I am going to be doing. After doing some research I found forms online that I downloaded and just need to fill out and then turn in to some state office (I can not remember off hand) and then pay about $120 and I am then all set. But then you have the fun job of deciding if you are going to be a s corporation, llc, inc, and so forth. If you need some more information on where to file then please let me know where you live and I will see what I can find. However I do not think I will be able to help much if your outside the U.S.

Thank you so much for replying. My partner and I are not sure yet were we want to base our company US or Bolivia. We are trying to weigh the pros and cons of having US based company or Bolivian Compnay. I am based in Dallas TExas so if we didn decide to have it US based it would be here. If you could direct me to those forms that would be outstanding and greatly appreciated. Are you out of the US?

Domain name is another thing that I'll have to worry about once we establish a physical company name. I'll keep it in mind thanks. Do you mentor all business start ups or do you just do the online marketing mentoring?
