Question: how many business to start??

Do I need to register separate businesses for each of my ventures?

I was thinking of ____ Multimedia (for my writing, photography pursuits)

But for the acting/modeling and the personal training do I need to make 2 additional businesses?

Also, the business type option on the forms, I was going to put the code for “Miscellaneous Service”

Is that okay? What do you all think?

Should I remove the mulitimedia designation and do one all-encompassing business name to house all the little ventures?

well start you main company which would be like.. whimsy holdings then under that you have seperate business' such as whimsy multimedia, whimsy fitness, and whimsy modelling or whatever. Speak with a lawyer they will tell you the pros and cons of going both ways.
