Question Business out of country?

I'm looking at setting up a business outside of the US. Just wondering what procedures I need to take to insure that everything goes smoothly. The country I'm looking at going to is Costa Rica. Thanks in advance for any help. Let me know if I need to be more detailed about my plans.

Will you be moving to the chosen country? If not you will need a really good manager to run the store for you. Preferably someone from the US who is prepared to move to the country.

I'm not sure about how to start a business in Costa Rica, but I do know that the Tico Times (which you're probably familiar with) writes for an American audience. They often include stories about how to accomplish things there, and I'm assuming starting a business has come up once or twice.

But what kind of business? I'm curious, too
