    plans for the future?

Hello my name is Henry I am seventeen years of age. I have finished highschool a year early and I am in Germany on the Congress Budenstag Youth Exchange. After this year I will be trilingual and attending a university.
I have worked at subway and morgan stanley. Subway learning leadership skills and customer relations, and Morgan Stanley learning mostly about mutual funds I was a computer operator there so not much work with the actual investing itself. Plus small jobs at a pool and a country club watching the tennis courts.
I am confused on what I want to do for my future career. I have been always keen on being a physician but I also have interest in the corporate world. Becoming a doctor would be great but it takes alot of schooling then alot of work time which I will take alot of valuable time away from family. In Germany now there are alot of European Headquarters. I want a plan for the future what to major in and what to actually do. I am hoping I can gather some advice and Ideas so I can broadly map out my upcoming future.
I have expirience in many fields. I have volunteers countless hours at the hostpital, I have done journalism workshops, and other small odd workshops.
Plus I have done alot of reading (mind of a millionare, rich dad poor dad, blink, the tipping point, freakonomics) all books broadening my ideas and such.
My ultmate goal is being successful and working to be at the top of whereever I am.
Please give me your insite so I can work with my future plan.
    vielen dank!!
    -Henry

    What about a teacher!!

A teacher is a very rewarding job, especially if you teach a subject you enjoy and you are passionate about.
It also pays fairly well and gives a minimum of 13 weeks holiday in the UK. thats enoug for 6 holidays abroad and a week at home in my eyes!!

    don't write off your dreams

Just because most doctors don't have much time to spend with their families doesn't mean you have to do it that way. My doctor has her own small practice and she works from 10-4 Monday through Thursday.

Here in the states, teacher's salaries are not very good and many teachers need to keep large, obnoxious classes under control. I didn't like those ideas, but I like to share my knowledge with other people so I ended up teaching through writing on the internet.

Healthcare consultant? My dayjob here is for a consulting company who helps doctors keep their businesses running smoothly. It's business but related to doctors.

Whether this is what you are looking for or not, I encourage you to keep looking and to keep an open mind. Make a list of the things you might like to do and what parts of the job you like and dislike. That way you can keep your eye open for things that best fit your ideal job.

Thanks for the advices any more?

Teaching I took in consideration, but teach what? Languages? I don't know if I could because i've tried teaching grammar rules and it's so hard and I don't know it well in any language to teach it.

It is a good idea to become a health consultant. Something to add to my list of possibilites. Teaching will be on the list also thanks. And Ill be sure to tell my mother to send me that book!

What I have been thinking about was the corporate world. There are so many European headquarters in Germany. I think I have really good people skills, language skills, critical thinking skills, and money management. In college what should I study if i go into the business world? maybe major in business?

My current plan is to go to college work hard and maybe go abroad again. After start career or grad school and work toward success .

I really don't like that it's too broad for me. What do you guys think?
