    Picking which product to buy

Hello. Just joined this site yesterday.

I import products from overseas and sell it here. We keep about 100 different items in stock. Shipping prices continue to rise, and the dollar is not doing so well either. Lately I have been trying to maximize profits by ordering smaller products to keep the shipping price per item lower.

So here's what I'm wondering. Currently we just try to keep in stock the fast sellers or the items with the highest profit. Would it be wiser to try and stock smaller items to maximize profit per square foot (or kilogram)? or is it wiser to stock more of the fast selling lower profit items?
