Online Eco Friendly Clothing Store

Hi everyone,

I am starting an online clothing company, and need a bit of advise.

It is going to be focused on Eco Friendly womens sports wear to start. I am planning for a very small line to start to test the waters about 56 pieces. I am in the process of writing my business plan but need to factor in the costs from the manufacturers and have no idea how much I am looking at!
and I am hitting a wall trying to find someone to manufacture the designs and give me a price quote, and I am not sure what they need from me in terms of material? sizes? weights?designs? I am new to this and when I contact the manufactures they don't give much information.

If anyone can offer me some advise it would be muchly appreciated!

I recommend to you who is starting his own business, seek suppliers in China, they can produce whatever you imagine and ask, rather, the costs are extremely low! This and the important point for the beginner.

Take a look at ***.alibaba.*com site and find it several factories and each has a site that you can contact the supplier you want.

If you do it in China or India, you will have a lot of quality problems. Basically you need to be in place and check every item they put to box. Also when the amounts are small and not in tens or hundred of thosuands, they are not much interested.
What kind of amounts you are thinking to sell?
