Needs advice to get financing

I need some advise. I am not currently an entrepreneur. I getting my house in order before I do anything. I am paying off all my debt and trying to save in the process. I looking to purchase a franchise within the next two years. I don't have any capital to speak of. I "own" a car that isn't worth very much (that currently has a lien on it) and minimal savings. I am looking to finance this venture but I don't know where to go or how to start. Is SBA the best way to go? Or, should I partner up with an investor? Should I find an angel, if so where do I find them? This is all new to me and I need some guidance. Please advise. Also, I need some advise on where to find UFOCs that aren't over $200.00. I just can't afford this right now. Help please.
