    Need Online Website Traffic Reports

I am hoping someone can be of assistance. I need monthly unique visitors, and the overall monthly traffic for a few websites. I know of quantcast, compete, but those only give Unique monthly, and I need both unique monthly and the overall traffic for the month. I am willing to pay for the information , anyone have any suggestions? I would like it for at least a few months, but prefer a years worth of the numbers ( by the month).. Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

My favourite is statcounter.com . They give daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly results. They show page loads, unique visits and repeat visits. They also show the averages. And so much more... like where visitors came from (clicked on a link), search engine keywords they used, visitor paths, popular pages, and it goes on.

I think he is looking for information on sites that he does not have control of.

Without control, he already mentioned some of the best sources available. I would add Semrush to it, but honestly all there is available are imperfect solutions.

Oh I see. Also, doesn't Alexa do that?

Yeph Alexa does that too, but Alexa is considered to provide low quality data. I remembered how easy it was to manipulate just by installing the toolbar in your browser.

The other choices are better, but the numbers are still far from reality. For example, I know that the numbers shown for my site in those services are not close to what the true numbers are.

    I am confused here.
Is he not asking for some software he can use to track sites he has no control of -as loanuniverse is saying?
coz i thought statcounter requires one to add some codes to the site so you can see some data..

as for semrush, I have checked it out but it seems it only gives the average per month. Or I might have not seen what I wanted to see. Enlighten me please...

Also does it not show google.se, google.dk and others? Or they will be in the paid version?

    Any thoughts?

I don't think you need to pay anything for this info.

try " Google Analytics " its free. You just have to embed there code in you webpages.

    Thanks

Yes Google Analytics is the solution and the best way to monitor the traffic.

Google Analytics is free and good so you should use it. Sometimes it under-counts though. Seems like if you run more than one analytics program they never match up.

He is right, Google Analytics is in-depth, easy to setup and now supports Real time data, I can help with setting this up if you need. I am about.
