    Need Clothing Printing Help

I'm looking to do some printing on both shirts, and hats. I need some advice. Should I buy a press and do everything myself? Should I hire somebody to do it? What's the rough cost going to be to get set up? Thanks so much for the help!

Well I'm launching a new clothing line hopefully. I want to print on shirts, and hats. I have the site in progress right now, and would like to know if it's my best bet to buy the press myself and do it all myself, or look for somebody to partner with? Thanks.

If I were in your shoes I would not buy the press.

Well are you looking to do embroidery or screen printing or what? He can't help you if you do not know or at least use the lingo.

I worked in an adult friends family run screen printing business and I will tell you those machines can be expensive and more often then not clothing company especially ones starting off the internet don't make a ton and it is quite likely that if you do buy the equipment your not going to be able to pay it off in the end if things don't go well.

To give the best advice from either of us you need to be more specific. Depending on what you are doing I suppose you could also get it done in China or the like and have it shipped from there.

I'm looking to do screen printing. I've read up on it, and I think that I could do it from my home quite easily. All I need is the press, some print paper, and the shirts and I'll be good to go. What do I need to know about this furthermore? thanks.

Well I'm just trying to get some advice, sorry. How would I go about doing this? Is there anything I should know about this that I don't? Thanks.

listen dmd, I have owned a millon dollar clothing line, and I started from zero. I had a plan, and I worked it. You have not explained what else you need help with. What you have asked I have answered. My advice is explain what you are doing a bit better, and ask more questions. You will receive better advice. Again, don't waist anybody's time if you are not serious, and maybe you are.

You asked in your last post; "Is there anything I should know about this that I don't?"

How do I know what you do or don't know. I can assume you are in over your head buying your own print equipment. I also believe you are planing on buying a heat press as you explained it. Come on now, take your time, and get serious.

    Sincerely,

Ok, I apologize. I meant to be clear, but I wasn't. I am looking to start a clothing line, with either everybodyknowme or EKM printed on the clothing. This won't require a huge expensive heat press, so I'm thinking I should be able to do this myself. However, I am very new to this. I would like to know the basics about screen printing on clothes, and what to expect in terms of money. Thank you.
