I am looking to start a line of women's clothes and have my sketches only. Can anyone offer advice on good places to research/find clothing manaufacturers that can make designs based off sketches/fabric samples?

You are already on the right track. You have the sketches and fabric samples. Make sure you have your colors written down. Some prefer pantone colors. I don't know where you are located, but you can get them made in the U.S. but it'll be costly, however easier. You can get them made in china for cheap however, rather difficult.
