Post Need advice for online bookstore

    Hi experts,

I'm planning to start an online bookstore (selling uni textbooks) targetting another country's uni in about 2 mths time.

I want to enquire if I register a company in my own country (ex: Singapore) and I am selling the books to another country (ex: Japan), which country should i pay tax to?

Second, is it legal to purchase books from an existing bookstore and selling them to another country? (ie: is there any copyright issues.. or publication issues)

Third, book prices in a particular country are around the same price range, i'm wondering is there anyone who actually control the prices?

Lastly, if i managed to find a source in my own country that sells the book cheaper, am i allowed to set my own book price if i sell it in another country?

Hope you guys can help me. Any advise is deeply appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Christian

hmm, looks like you might need to talk to a international business person (lol what are they called?), and/or a tax accountant and perhaps a lawyer

Maybe start with someone at a nearby business centre or similar.
