Need advice ASAP LegalZoom

I’m stuck at a cross road don’t know what to do. I’m needed to trademark my business name and I don’t know either to try Legal Zoom or just an old fashion lawyer to do it for me. The price difference is a lot by a couple of thousands of dollars. However, I don’t want to waste money


My question has anyone used legal zoom here in this forum. If you have how was your experience? I did some research and I found a lot of bad complaints.

You definitely don't need to use Legal Zoom. They will basically charge you a lot of money for something that you can do yourself. If google Trademark Registration, then go to the United States Trademark and Patent Office. Once of the questions posed is how do I trademark? Click on that and it will talk you through the process. Hope this helps.

Legal zoom is cheap for what they do. I would use them before I use a lawyer. With that being said the US Trademark office has an 18 to 24 month backlog right now. No matter which direction you chose it will be years before anyhing is finalized. I'm going on 16 mo the with zero word on one my apps done with a lawyer before I started using Legal Zoom for everything.
