Name: Accounting software VS Bookkeeping software

    Hi everybody...

One of my main products is a small business accounting package.
I've done some research and it turns out that the term "accounting software" is much more popular than the phrase "bookkeeping software".

I am busy performing SEO on my website - so that the page gets found for the relevant search term...

Now, I would seem obvious to target "accounting software", being the most popular search term.

Taking into consideration that my target market is the micro to small business - which term do you think I should target?

I have a feeling that many micro business owners would enter the keyword "bookkeeping" instead of "accounting" - more financially literate consumers would search for "accounting"

    What do you think??

    Thanks,
    Dylan

Believe me, the mods here are going as fast as they can to delete the spam. The owners of this site are in the process of upgrading the site. Supposedly it will be released within the next week or so with a new forum and updated content, etc.

We are all at the end of our patience with the spam crap. The best you can do is continue to report the spam and we will delete it as fast as we can.

Ok... Like I said in one report, why not set the forum so users can't post URL's until they've been member for say 14 days, or until they've made 10 posts or something like that...

There are at least a half dozen solutions to fix this problem but the site administrators/owners have not implemented them. I personally have offered to do it and even volunteered to purchase a new version of vB or phpBB. They declined my offer. They continue to promise a new site with enhanced features that is supposedly coming out any day.

We understand the frustrations. Please bear with us...

Thanks for voting richkid - i wish that more people would, because I need a substantial amount of votes for this poll to be of any use.

Please vote!!! Remember - consider the question from a micro to small business owners' perspective.

Dylan: For some reason the spambots have fallen in love with this thread. I'm going to close it. I suggest starting another one with a slightly different title. I've deleted almost 25 spam posts from this thread. I'm not sure how or why they latch on to certain threads but some are waaay worse than others.
