Are subsurface mineral interests defined as securities? If so, what is the process of becoming a broker/dealer?
I'd think that mineral interests (being that the minerals are still buried) would fail fungibility the test.

I am trying to figure this out are you talking about as in stocks and bonds? or do you mean as a land dealer/broker and having a cert. document done and claiming mineral wrights to land? for minning ect??
the later is a real estate license along with research on earth minerals and zoning for minning with the state to be short
