Looking to sell... Need expert help!!

Hello,

I am looking to sell a site that i own... And i was wondering how to work out how much it is worth..

Profit Stats

Adsense
$1-3 p/day

Affilate adverts on the site
$200 P/month

Sales
$200 p/month

It is a COMPLETELY automated site, and i have only implimented minimal advertising (links in signature, adding url to search engines..)

Is there a set way to value the site based on revenue? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I often hear the figure of 3 times monthly revenue for sites like this, so you are looking at say just over £500.

On many forums Ive seen people ask for about 12 times the monthly earnings, and get it.

It's not my main source of income, and i have no interest in promoting it any more..

Thank for that. That seems more realistic, as i would not sell for less than 3 months revenue

But those that go with 12* monthly have either a clear way of developing revenue or have shown consistent traffic over a long period, this site has neither.

I do agree that the site probably isnt worth 12 months revenue as it is, butof course theres ways of developing the revenue. He says he has used minimal advertising, so thats the first thing youd start off with.

Normally you pay 12 x the monthly revenue, but remember to take into consideration the value of the domain, the amount of expansion that could be done on the site and also what people are willing to pay.

Thanks everyone for your help. I understand this isn't the nicest looking website by any means, and the domain is not worth anything. But it turns over a nice profit, so this will be it's selling point.
