Long in the tooth - or simply experienced - just ask

    Hi
I am probably the oldest registered member and surely not a young entrepreneur, but I have been!
It occurred to me though that all you young guys could, from time to time, require the advice of someone who's been through the mill - so here I am - and maybe more will follow - just ask.

I am 58, a qualified veterinary surgeon living in London. Last year with my partner and a friend I started worldwidenoticeboards after seeing Alex Tew's MillionDollarHomepage.

If any of you need to raise cash to fund your projects you could do so by either becoming one of our affiliates, or more profitably by becoming an agent and receiving 50% commission on sales of advertising. Or possibly by posting a link to your website on one of our sites - we are aiming for a total of over 300 Noticeboards.

My past experience has involved setting up my own practice and running it for 25 years, launching a pet magazine, launching a corporate veterinary group, and raising venture capital plus lots of other stuff along the way.

If I can be of any help please don't hesitate.

By the way - all we do at WWN aims to place bednets over kids dying from malaria - 3000 die every day - so please tell anyone you know about us - and take a look at our sites and the Pixels4Bednets site

    Regards
    Mozzie

    Mozzie,

I am new, too. I for one also have no problem learning from someone who has been around the block quite a few times before! A large part of learning is the act of making mistakes, but if you can learn from someone else's mistakes and successes, you are that much better off.

Thanks for joining, I look forward to seeing more of your posts!

    Bumperbib -

My eyes are failing obviously - I see now - apologies for the mis-spelling Bumperbib not bip! - makes sense -

I wouldn't want to be an agent for Bumperbibs - we have too many things in the pipeline - but 1. I will put you a free link on PetNoticeboards.com for what it's worth - check it in a couple of days and let me know if it looks ok and 2. I will get my webmaster to place a link on his website (ThePetHealthPortal).

I'm not sure if I have seen anything similar here - but it occurs to me that it would be the sort of thing that would sell to country types - and you would expect to see it advertised in magazines such as Country Life (very upmarket) and The Field (Sporting Magazine for country people) - these mags do tend to be expensive to advertise in.

Quite a few of the country set use boot (trunk) liners but they don't extend over the bumper.

We do have a new venture coming up that might be a suitable place to market it. Will keep you informed of progress on that one.

    Low Class -

    Love the car !!

I live just round the corner from the Lamborghini showroom in London.
The Guilardo Roadster is one smart car - and now it's engineered by Audi should be a lot more reliable.

Personally, however, it will be the Aston Martin DB9 Volante taking up space in my garage!

let me know when you get yours
