Ok I'm trying to make a decision what the best route for the future of my business should be. Right now I'm a SP and am considering becoming a LLC or Corperation.
Mainly I'm the man that runs everything around the business and it looks like we will probally be getting some major funding for the business so we can develop our technology and mass produce our product.
So in this future case, what might be the best option for my business. Questions are welcomed

For me, as someone with a single employee and I pay out all of the earnings (no profits to be taxed at corporate level) the LLC and S-Corp were pretty much the same, except in IL it costs 5x as much to start an LLC, which is why I have Milestone Web Development, INC!

I prefer LLCs due to their simplicity in record keeping, rules, etc. when compared to a corp. However, it really does depend on your situation.
