I run the site www.letsbeef.com
in the last few months are traffic has increased to up to over 1 million page views daily. I am using google adsense, but am not happy with the results.
What other networks, or forms of ad revenue would you suggest.

we'll, we're implementing like 15 different things at yeblogger
everything from ads in feeds, premium services, and product diversification
in your case, you can run everything from market research surveys for large media agencies, to setting up a blog community for your users (thousands of them blog, or have myspace profiles)
you're on the right track - the basic formula is simple - just create more content, which leads to more pageviews, which leads to more clicks etc...
a lot of people will start bitching over whether adsense is better than ypn which is better than xyz.
i think that's important also - but more importantly, focus on creating more ad inventory.
e.g. we're just launching a custom toolbar for our site - that'll also generate more revenues. there's a lot of options available.

We are in the process of doing a premium membership, and our community is very strong. They have a my space type profile as well as chat rooms. We are trying to increase traffic as much as possible, just having problems capitalizing on this traffic. what are your thoughts on sties such as adbright.com for selling banner space.

No good. AdBrite's PPC network is worse than Adsense b'c there's less advertisers = less competition on keyword bids = worse PPC rates.
I don't have much experience with their set pricing ads, but I'd expect that they're not any better than running in-house ads. With set pricing, you're looking for media buyers with deep pockets who don't mind overpaying for ads because they can then send bigger bills to their clients.
I'm not sure whether large media planning agencies frequent adbite, but I wouldn't bet on it. You'd have better luck creating your own rate card and pitching promotional packages directly to your target advertisers.
But - at the end of the day; it's not about what monetization tool is better. It's about traffic, and more average pageviews per unique visitor.
That's the metrics I'd advise you to focus on. Getting an extra 1c per click, is not as important as putting in a great viral strategy and multiplying your traffic 2x fold; or making sure your existing traffic sees double the ads that they normally do because you've engineered your product for more pageviews.
