I've decided to open my business.

I have spent the last 6 months or so in finding a business that i am a) passionate about and b) I would be be able to (realistically) open. I have decided that I want to open up my own spa. There is an area in town that is great, the rent is pretty decent, and the demographics would fit my target audience to a T but would also give me room to expand. The spa that I want to open is to carry all natural products. I have been looking at locations, going to register my business (when I can find a great name for it), and speaking with suppliers.

Just wondering if anyone has opened this kind of business or know of someone who has opened this kind of business to give me some insight.

Don't have insights but I wish you good luck. Lots of competitors in a spa business so you need to have something different.

mostly spa business in our area has a beauty salon like hair or nail salon. Good luck to your new business.

Thank you! Yes, the spa's here are also very competitive but they are all very alike. We have the green fever here and our city is known for being the most active. So I wanted to incorporate organic spa services with other health conscious services.

I am very excited and I will definitely keep you all posted.
