i wonder if anyone has any advice on what we should do.

We've been offered financing by an investor for a new project we have created. 20% of the investment will come from our own pocket, and the rest from his but he wants 50/50 stakes.

We would still like to keep creative control over this project, so do we ask for 51%? or more? or what would you do?

Any advice will be appreciated considering the little information provided.
