Is it legal to sell on campus?

Hello, I am currently a student and interested in selling products for my father's corportion. I want to know if it's legal to sell products on campus and whether it is ok to advertise on Facebook such as setting up a group and et cetera. Please respond back in full details and add anything else that I need to know about. Thank you.

no, it wouldn't be. marketing on campus is probably against university rules (although it might not be!)
the university is private property, you'll need permission. depending on what u sell, you might get it.
this doesn't mean that you can't stand outside university gates and out fliers, which is perfectly legal.
likewise, you can probably get away with selling stuff on campus if you set up stall as a student club or smthg
there are also specialized marketing organisations that help companies access the student market

facebook is fine. promoting stuff on fb is within the TOS. no issues there other than spamming etc.

Each university will have its own rules and regulations. For example, at Arizona State, you pay a small fee to a campus organization and are allowed to spend a few weeks on campus promoting or selling your product. FB is a great way to tell people what you are doing.
