    Smile In Home personal training.

    Hello.

I am in the process of starting a personal training business where I go to clients homes to train them in there own home gyms, or where I take out portable equipment to train them. I am on here to get some ideas from other entrepreneurs.

Eventually I want to get to where I am training from a garage out of the back of my home, but I need to do some work on it before I can start training from home. I figured that I will get some experience, and clients from going out and marketing to clients from there homes. So I am to go door to door in neighborhoods where I know people have the space, and or the equipment in there home, but need the motivation and proper technique to be succesful. I am getting business cards and flyers and take them door to door, going to Tanning salons, and also leaving some of my flyers at nutrtional stores.

I have worked in gyms as a traininer and would only do that if clients already have a membership, because most gyms charge you 25% to 45% to use there equipment, plus it is very hard to use some equipment because the equipment is being used by others, and you have to wait to use what you where going to use with your client.

    Thank you
    Damon Newsome.

I would most definately conduct a force field analysis to make sure it's feasible and is going to work. I can see many different negatives which, if you don't capitalise on, ruin your business model.

Make sure you come across as a professional personal trainer, as personally I wouldn't want some random stranger come to my house and work out.
