Hi
I'm trying to manufacture toys in China and import them to U.S.A. My concerns are How to meet the U.S Safety standards for toys and where can i find those standards? Do I need to test PAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) ?
Thanks

Skyhigh,
With the bad publicity China has been getting regarding their toys would your really want to still get into that?

There is still a lot of money to be made in toys from China. The key really is supplier management and defining your requirements. I know for a lot of the lead paint issues was caused because no one did their homework to see if lead paint was legal or not in China.
If the toys involve electronics, I could help you.
I can probably help you also. Success in China is all about finding the right supplier and developing the right relationships.
Send me a PM if you want to talk a bit more
